Commentary:
While the debate as to whose fault this financial mess is rages we find the following to be very persuasive. Though all blame cannot fall on an individual nor party for that matter this is seems a relevant piece of evidence. Mind you this is a bill proposal from 2005 presented by the Republican Senator Chuck Hagel and co-sponsored by John McCain. It was unanimously rejected by all Democratic Senators and effectively killed when Freddie and Fanny payed $2,000,000 to a consulting firm to coerce a few of the Republican supporters:

"If effective regulatory reform legislation ... is not enacted this year, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system and the economy as a whole," Presented: July 28, 2005

Liberal mismanagement or just plain bipartisanship, you decide.
Daily or Weekly BS!
Blaming this financial crisis on the current president. Utterly absurd.
